Star Wars Eclipse, Alan Wake II, and More Revealed at The Game Awards 2021

This year’s Game Awards has come to end, but those who missed Geoff Knighley’s annual ceremony celebrating the countless talents of the video game industry might want to check out its replay, as the show included a ton of great trailers with new footage for both previously announced projects and complete surprises.

Among the games that were showcased include Star Wars Eclipse, an adventure game developed by Detroit: Become Human studio Quantic Dream set in the sci-fi franchise’s High Republic era; FromSoftware’s Elden Ring, which received a new story trailer; and Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade, whose long-rumored PC version will finally arrive next week exclusively on the Epic Games Store.

Remedy Games even shared a short clip to confirm that it is working on the long-overdue sequel to its cult-classic, supernatural thriller, Alan Wake. A roundup including that and other notable trailers:

Alan Wake II

Star Wars Eclipse

Set during the High Republic era, Star Wars Eclipse is an intricately branching action-adventure game that can be experienced in many ways, and puts the destinies of multiple playable characters in your hands, created in collaboration between Quantic Dream and Lucasfilm Games.

Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade

Battle through Midgar with Cloud and Avalanche in FINAL FANTASY VII REMAKE INTERGRADE, coming to the Epic Games Store on December 16, 2021. FINAL FANTASY VII REMAKE INTERGRADE is a visually enhanced edition of the critically acclaimed and award winning game, featuring a brand-new episode featuring Yuffie as the main character, and numerous gameplay additions for players to enjoy.

Horizon Forbidden West

Dune: Spice Wars
