MSI Announces Optix MPG321UR-QD Xbox Edition Monitor

MSI has announced a new monitor that’s specially designed for Microsoft’s next-gen consoles.

Dubbed the Optix MPG321UR-QD Xbox Edition, MSI’s latest display features a 4K UHD (3840×2160) IPS panel with Quantum Dot technology that supports refresh rates of up to 144 Hz and is certified for DisplayHDR 600. Connectivity options include HDMI 2.1, enabling additional features such as VRR, while NVIDIA G-SYNC is also supported as an alternative way of avoiding tearing.

“The Xbox Edition comes with various features especially designed for console gamers to provide an amazing experience on the Xbox series X/S,” MSI’s press release reads. “The MPG series also features MSI exclusive Gaming intelligence which includes Sound tune, Smart Brightness, and also KVM features which also includes controller support.”

MSI’s Optix MPG321UR-QD Xbox Edition Monitor is one of the nominees for this year’s CES Innovation Awards, according to a graphic. Pricing and date of availability are yet to come.
