An unfinished build of Guerrilla Games’ upcoming Horizon Zero Dawn sequel for PS4 and PS5, Horizon Forbidden West, has made its way online in the form of leaked screenshots shared by various Twitter users.

Dualsense Floppa shared two images that were purportedly from the PlayStation 4 version of the game yesterday evening, but they have been since been removed due to what were presumably copyright complaints from Sony. One of the images teased the game’s mountain textures, which were described as “trash” by one commenter.

The leaked build of Horizon Zero Dawn is “indeed legitimate and, other than some missing art assets, contains the entire core content planned for the final game,” according to coverage from VGC.

“At the time of publishing, the Forbidden West build does not appear to be circulating on file-sharing sites, though Sony will likely be wary of a situation similar to The Last of Us Part 2, which saw story spoilers circulate widely online well ahead of its official release date thanks to a similar build leak,” the publication noted.

Horizon Forbidden West will be released for the PS4 and PS5 on February 18.
