Sony and Guerrilla Games have confirmed a new sales milestone for their 2017 post-apocalyptic action RPG, Horizon Zero Dawn. According to a tweet from head of PlayStation Studios Hermen Hulst and a separate article on the official PlayStation blog from Angie Smets (Studio Director & Executive Producer, Guerrilla), Horizon Zero Dawn has managed to sell over 20 million copies around the world as of November 28, 2021. This impressive figure accounts for both the PS4 and PC versions of the game, the latter of which arrived on Steam on August 7, 2020, marking the end of Horizon Zero Dawn’s PlayStation exclusivity.
