HBO has shared a second teaser trailer for House of the Dragon, a new original drama series based on George R.R. Martin’s Fire & Blood novel that is set 200 years before the events of Game of Thrones and tells the story of one of Westeros’ most infamous houses, House Targaryen. Among the cast are former Doctor Matt Smith, who stars as Prince Daemon Targaryen, brother to King Viserys, and the Amazing Spider-Man’s Rhys Ifans as Otto Hightower, The Hand of the King. House of the Dragon comprises 10 episodes and will be available to stream on HBO Max beginning on August 21.
