Noctua recently teased that its partnership with ASUS was far over, and it appears that the company wasn’t kidding. VideoCardz has shared official images of the manufacturers’ next collaboration, an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 (10 GB) graphics card from ASUS that leverages some of Noctua’s popular and acclaimed cooling technologies. More specifically, this card will feature two of the Austrian cooling expert’s 120 mm fans, both of which, naturally, feature its instantly identifiable beige and brown color scheme. The card reportedly costs 1,150 EUR (~1,210 US), 250 EUR more than the GeForce RTX 3070 Noctua Edition.
The card features a very similar quad-slot cooling solution with two 120 mm fans. Based on our quick check, both the RTX 3080 and RTX 3070 appear to be the same size, the cooling solution has not changed much, but the heatsink is obviously modified for a bigger GPU.
The card is equipped with dual 8-pin power connectors and non-standard display connectors: 3x DisplayPort 1.4 and dual HDMI 2.1. It appears to be the same board design as RTX 3080 TUF series.
