GIGABYTE has shared a press release confirming the release of the Z690I AORUS ULTRA PLUS, a new motherboard with Mini-ITX form factor for enthusiasts seeking to build a more diminutive system powered by one of Intel’s 12th Gen Core processors. This is a gaming motherboard with DDR4 and DDR5 SKUs that counts a 12-layer PCB and 10+1+2 phase digital power VRM design among its chief features, in addition to a Killer Wi-Fi AX1690 Wi-Fi 6E controller that supports Double Connect, an Intel technology that attempts to reduce latency by powering two simultaneous Wi-Fi connections on the same device.
