Samsung’s Odyssey Neo G8 is available to pre-order now for $1,499. Originally unveiled at CES in January and scheduled to go on sale June 6, the display is being marketed as the world’s first 4K gaming monitor to feature refresh rates of up to 240 Hz, making it one of the fastest 4K monitors on the market. The 32-inch Quantum Mini-LED panel with 1,196 local dimming zones and 1000R curvature also features a 1 ms response time, support for Adaptive-Sync, and should be great for HDR content thanks to its peak brightness of 2,000 nits. Samsung’s Odyssey Neo G8 will be accompanied by a lesser model called the Odyssey Neo G7, which carries similar specs but with a refresh rate that tops out at 165 Hz.
