Corsair has shared a press release and tweet confirming the availability of its new Dominator Platinum RGB DDR5-6600 C32 memory. Available in kits of 2x 16 GB and featuring timings of 32-39-39-76, Corsair says that these are the fastest DDR5 kits available in today’s market. Corsair’s Dominator Platinum RGB BDDR5-6600 C32 memory is available for purchase immediately through its online store for $429.99, but enthusiasts who are interested may have to act fast, as they are only available in “strictly limited quantities.” The memory kits also feature 12 individually addressable Capellix LEDs per module for RGB effects and are backed by a lifetime warranty.

Specialist, high-specification motherboards such as the ASUS ROG STRIX Z690-F and ROG MAXIMUS Z690 HERO are required for DOMINATOR PLATINUM RGB DDR5 6,600 MHz to reach its stated frequency. Not all 12th Generation Intel Core Processors support DDR5 frequencies of 6,600 MHz. A top-binned Intel CORE i9-12900K is recommended to reach 6,600 MHz.

  1. That's pretty impressive and corsair to boot... Though they are publicly traded now so I wonder where they are cutting corners.
    I wonder too, but from what I've seen this go around, they're cutting fewer corners than G.Skill...
  2. Corsair has a reputation for initial quality and great customer support - if they lower their standards to chase a bottom line, they'll simply undermine themselves and fall short.

    Let that be a warning for them. They are far from irreplaceable.

  4. I'd like to see examples - I don't particularly favor or disfavor Corsair, just appreciate them for what they are and haven't really had an issue in a long time - and none that they've failed to address.

    Besides a wireless mouse I returned to Best Buy I haven't had any issues with their products so far.
