A Plague Tale: Requiem Launches October 18, NVIDIA DLSS and Ray Tracing Support in Development

Focus Entertainment has confirmed that A Plague Tale: Requiem will be released on October 18 for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S platforms. The date was revealed at the end of a lengthy gameplay trailer that premiered today, a 12-minute-long clip that teases what fans of Asobo Studio’s acclaimed action-adventure stealth franchise will be in for in the next chapter of Amicia de Rune and her brother Hugo’s journey following their initial escape from French soldiers and diseased rats in the midst of the Hundred Years’ War in the original 2019 game. Asobo Studio and Focus Entertainment also revealed that they are working with NVIDIA on adding RTX features to A Plague Tale: Requiem, bringing ray tracing and DLSS to the game for boosted performance and greater visuals. A Plague Tale: Requiem will additionally be available on day one with Xbox Game Pass for Console, PC, and Cloud.

In a new extended gameplay sequence, follow Amicia and Hugo as they make their way through a massive ochre-red quarry overwhelmed with soldiers eager to capture them. Fortunately, the duo has many new tricks up their sleeve and doesn’t shy away from getting their hands dirty.
