PerformanceTEST 10

PassMark Advanced GPU Compute Test

We are using PerformanceTest 10.2 and its PassMark Advanced GPU Compute Tests feature set of benchmarks. This is a suite of compute tests to test specific functions using DirectCompute and OpenCL. We have graphed out each one separately to compare in graphs.

GeForce RTX 3090 Ti vs Radeon RX 6950 XT Compute Performance PerformanceTEST PassMark NBodyGravity

NBodyGravity is a physics simulation of gravity and motion. The GeForce RTX 3090 Ti FE is 21% faster than the Radeon RX 6950 XT.

GeForce RTX 3090 Ti vs Radeon RX 6950 XT Compute Performance PerformanceTEST PassMark Fluid Simulation

This test performs a fluid simulation using the MacCormack method to simulate a fire reaction in an enclosed volume. The Radeon RX 6950 XT is 11% faster than the GeForce RTX 3090 Ti FE.

GeForce RTX 3090 Ti vs Radeon RX 6950 XT Compute Performance PerformanceTEST PassMark Quaternion Julia Fractals

This test generates a four-dimensional Julia fractal set, which is then rendered in three dimensions and animated. Epsilon is set at 0.001 which increases the load on the GPU. The GeForce RTX 3090 Ti FE is 71% faster than the Radeon RX 6950 XT.

GeForce RTX 3090 Ti vs Radeon RX 6950 XT Compute Performance PerformanceTEST PassMark Mandelbrot

This test continuously zooms onto a particular point in a two-dimensional Mandelbrot fractal set, generating various shapes and patterns. The GeForce RTX 3090 Ti FE is 47% faster than the Radeon RX 6950 XT.

GeForce RTX 3090 Ti vs Radeon RX 6950 XT Compute Performance PerformanceTEST PassMark OpenCL

In this OpenCL physics test, the Radeon RX 6950 XT is 51% faster than the GeForce RTX 3090 Ti FE.
