ASRock Radeon RX 6750 XT Phantom Gaming D Review

Gameplay Performance

We are going to focus on the 1440p gameplay performance with the ASRock Radeon RX 6750 XT Phantom D video card.  We will include DLSS and FSR performance on the same graph in the games that are supported.  We will use DLSS on NVIDIA GPUs and FSR on AMD GPUs.  Ray Tracing performance will be shown on a separate page.  For video card comparisons we are using an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 Founders Edition video card and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 Ti Founders Edition video card.

F1 2022

F1 2022 was released on June 28th, 2022 on the PC and uses Codemasters Ego engine.  The game supports Ray Tracing, DLSS, AMD FidelityFX, and FSR.  We are going to run the game with the highest quality settings of “Ultra High” and TAA+FidelityFX.  We will enable DLSS and FSR as needed at the Quality setting for both.  We will utilize the built-in benchmark in the Imola track, in dry conditions with a far chasing cam.

In F1 2022 we are running the game at the highest in-game settings minus Ray Tracing. At “Ultra High” and TAA the ASRock Radeon RX 6750 XT Phantom Gaming D is very playable and fast at 153FPS. It beats the GeForce RTX 3070 by 9% and beats the RTX 3060 Ti by 24%. Overclocking improves performance by another 2%. We can enable FSR in this game, and that improves performance by 32% taking it up to 200FPS!

Dying Light 2

Dying Light 2 was released in February 2022 on the PC and uses Techland’s C-Engine.  The game supports Ray Tracing, DLSS and FSR.  We use the built-in preset to set “HIGH QUALITY” which sets the highest game graphics, without Ray Tracing.  We manually enable DX12 and ASYNC Compute.  For our benchmark, we are using a custom manual run-through at the end of the game hopping between rooftops, as well as free-roaming on the ground city level, as well as a forested area, in the daylight.

In Dying Light 2 we are running the game at the highest settings at 1440p minus Ray Tracing. The ASRock Radeon RX 6750 XT Phantom Gaming D does extremely well here providing a playable game experience at 70+FPS. This is an amazing performance for this demanding game, and you can enjoy it at the highest settings with this card. The ASRock RX 6750 XT is 4% faster than the GeForce RTX 3070 and 18% faster than the RTX 3060 Ti. Overclocking the video card improves performance by another 4%. We can also enable FSR which increases performance by 37% taking it up to nearly 98FPS.

Forza Horizon 5

Forza Horizon 5 was released on PC in November of 2021 and it uses the ForzaTech game engine. For our evaluation, we raise the in-game graphic settings beyond the “Extreme” preset to the maximum game settings. In addition to the “Extreme” preset we raise SSAO Quality to Ultra, Reflection Quality to Extreme, SSR Quality to Ultra.  We also disable MSAA and use TAA. We utilize the built-in benchmark for testing.

In Forza Horizon 5 we are running the game at the highest possible custom graphics settings at 1440p with TAA. The ASRock Radeon RX 6750 XT Phantom Gaming D is once again able to provide a very playable gameplay experience at 1440p with high framerates, above 80FPS here for an enjoyable experience. It is 3% faster than the RTX 3070 and 15% faster than the RTX 3060 Ti. Overclocking it improves performance by another 9% taking it to nearly 90FPS at 1440p max settings.

Far Cry 6

Far Cry 6 was released in October of 2021 and uses the Dunia Engine. We utilize the built-in benchmark for testing. We have the HD Texture pack installed and turned on. We utilize the “Ultra” graphics preset which sets all options to the highest game settings. This game supports FSR upscaling.

In Far Cry 6 we are running the game at 1440p with the highest settings possible plus HD Textures, minus Ray Tracing. The ASRock Radeon RX 6750 XT Phantom Gaming D is able to provide a more than playable experience, with very high framerates of 100FPS at 1440p. It matches the GeForce RTX 3070 for performance and is 10% faster than the RTX 3060 Ti. Overclocking improves performance by 4%. We can also enable FSR which boosts performance by 16% up to 117FPS.

Cyberpunk 2077

Cyberpunk 2077 was released in December of 2020 and uses the REDengine 4. We have the game patched to version 1.52 and perform a long manual run-through driving in the game’s open world. We test using the Graphics Preset option to set graphics settings, mainly “Ultra”.  This game supports DLSS and FSR.

In Cyberpunk 2077 we are running at 1440p with “Ultra” settings. This game is very demanding, and for the first time we don’t see the ASRock RX 6750 XT on top, and it is not really playable without FSR. The GeForce RTX 3070 is 8% faster than the ASRock RX 6750 XT Phantom Gaming D, but the ASRock RX 6750 XT Phantom Gaming D is 12% faster than the RTX 3060 Ti. Overclocking the ASRock video card improves performance by 4%, but it still isn’t enough to be playable. However, when we turn on FSR the ASRock Radeon RX 6750 XT Phantom Gaming D is very playable at 75FPS. It improves by 62% with FSR. This is what allows it to be playable at 1440p with the highest game settings.

Watch Dogs Legion

Watch Dogs Legion was released on the PC in October of 2020 and uses the Disrupt game engine. We utilize the built-in benchmark for testing. We have the HD Texture pack installed and enabled for testing. We use the built-in graphics preset of “Ultra” for testing. This game supports DLSS upscaling.

ASRock Radeon RX 6750 XT Phantom Gaming D Watch Dogs Legion Graph

In Watch Dogs Legion we are playing at 1440p with “Ultra” settings. The ASRock Radeon RX 6750 XT Phantom Gaming D is very playable in this game producing 76FPS at the highest settings. In fact, it’s 4% faster than the GeForce RTX 3070 and 17% faster than the RTX 3060 Ti. Overclocking the video card increases performance by 5%.
