G.SKILL Announces Up to 7,800 MHz Trident Z5 DDR5 Memory for 13th Gen Intel Core Desktop CPUs and Z790 Platform, Teases DDR5-8000 CL38 Kit

G.SKILL has announced a handful of new Trident Z5 DDR5 memory kits designed for 13th Gen Intel Core processors and the Z790 chipset platform with extreme overclocked performance. Headlining the new collection is a DDR5-7800 kit, which features a CL timing of 38-48-48-125 and will be available in 16 GB x2 capacity. An ultra-fast DDR5-8000 16 GB x2 memory kit operating with a low latency timing of CL 38-48-48-125 is also on the way, according to successful tests that G.SKILL conducted on a system with a 13th Gen Intel Core i9-13900K processor and ASUS ROG MAXIMUS Z790 APEX motherboard.
