Techland has announced that Dying Light Enhanced Edition will be free on EGS from April 6-13 and is also including a “Welcome Pack” for those that claim it. The DLC consists of weapons, an outfit skin, a blueprint, and a kit bundle. Techland has named the free offering “Free Tick to Harran“. This event follows the one-year anniversary of Dying Light 2: Stay Human released in February 2022 and provides fans of the action role-playing game a chance to experience the first game for free, if they don’t already have it.

From Techland:

“Techland offers a “Free ticket to Harran”

Get ready to enter the post-apocalyptic world of Dying Light, where you’ll need your wits and survival skills to stay alive. Dying Light Enhanced Edition will be available on the Epic Games Store for free from April 6th to April 13th, so mark your calendars and get ready to experience the ultimate open-world zombie game.

In Dying Light, players will have to do anything necessary to stay alive in Harran, a city overrun by the infected. Players can equip themselves with a vast array of weapons and hone their parkour skills. Every bit of gear obtained can be utilized to safeguard against the infected hordes and protect fellow survivors.

This is a game that’s not for the faint of heart, but for those who love the thrill of the chase, and adrenaline rush of combat and for those who are not afraid of the dark as the game offers a unique day and night experience.

So, whether you are a seasoned zombie veteran or a newcomer to the genre, Dying Light has something for everyone.

In addition, all players who redeem Dying Light on Epic Games Store will receive a welcome pack that includes:

•        Last Hope weapon
•        Alternator hammer

As a child of the 70’s I was part of the many who became enthralled by the video arcade invasion of the 1980’s. Saving money from various odd jobs I purchased my first computer from a friend of my dad, a used Atari 400, around 1982. Eventually it would end up being a lifelong passion of upgrading and modifying equipment that, of course, led into a career in IT support.
