Gameplay Performance at 1440p using DLSS 3 (Frame Generation)
Two of the games in our suite have been patched to enable DLSS 3-Frame Generation support. This technology is only available on RTX 4000 series and is explained in detail here. Bottom line is faster FPS in games that support it. On the horizon are all sorts of Ray Tracing technologies that will only add to the realistic detail in games. Frame Generation will surely help your graphics card perform faster.
Cyberpunk 2077 DLSS 3 (Frame Generation+Performance)
Here is the performance chart for Ray Tracing at 1440p that we showed earlier. You can see that with DLSS 2 enabled the FPS is 70 or 73 depending. If we enable DLSS 3-Frame Generation and use Performance DLSS we can see a jump of 93%!! Essentially doubling an already fast frame rate. We also ran the benchmark setting DLSS at Quality: OC 107, default 101. In ULTRA Performance: OC 177, default 171FPS. You can see the results are truly remarkable!
F1 2022 DLSS 3 (Frame Generation+Performance)
These results mirror Cyberpunk almost exactly. We see that the FPS of the MSI RTX 4070 GAMING X TRIO is nearly 100% faster in DLSS 3 using Performance DLSS. These results simply eclipse the competition. Again we also tested Quality: OC 164, default 155FPS. In ULTRA Performance setting: OC 245, default 233FPS!! Enabling DLSS 3 in these games at maximum settings with Ray Tracing simply gains crazy fast results.
