The official Star Wars site has revealed that Ahsoka, the new Star Wars series centered around Anakin Skywalker’s Jedi Padawan, will now premiere a day early on Tuesday, August 22 at 6 p.m. PT on Disney+. According to the show’s IMDb page, Hayden Christensen will be featured in at least one of Ahsoka’s episodes, while Grand Admiral Thrawn—one of the most popular Star Wars Expanded Universe characters—will finally appear in live action during two episodes. Thrawn is played by Danish actor Lars Mikkelsen, whose recent credits include Stregobor in Netflix’s Witcher series.

The two-episode premiere of Ahsoka will now arrive on Tuesday, August 22 at 6 p.m. PT on Disney+, it was announced today — one day earlier than originally scheduled. Subsequent episodes in the Original series will debut on Tuesdays at 6 p.m. PT, as well. (A Jedi can never start a mission too early.)

Set after the fall of the Empire, Ahsoka will follow the former Jedi Knight Ahsoka Tano as she investigates an emerging threat to a vulnerable galaxy.
