AMD has announced that the new AMD Software: Adrenalin Edition 23.10.2 driver for Windows 10 and Windows 11 64-bit systems is now available to download. The new driver, which starts at 641 MB, disables Anti-Lag+ technology in all supported games, as AMD has received reports of some games triggering anti-cheat bans on gamers when the technology is enabled on Radeon graphics. According to a tweet from the official Counter-Strike account, Counter-Strike 2 is one of the games that is affected by AMD Anti-Lag+ technology: “DO NOT ENABLE ANTI-LAG/+; any tampering with CS code will result in a VAC ban.” AMD has been working with Valve on a solution since Friday, but this is apparently the only solution that it’s come up with so far.

We will provide more information when available.
