Netflix has, for the very first time, published an engagement report that counts the hours viewed for all of its shows and films, revealing not only the streamer’s biggest hits, but also its biggest duds.

According to the lengthy report, which covers the period between January to June 2023 and is available as an Excel file, The Night Agent is, without a doubt, one of Netflix’s most popular and successful shows ever, having racked up over 800 million hours of viewership since its premiere on March 23, 2023.

“While monitoring an emergency line, a vigilant FBI agent answers a call that plunges him into a deadly conspiracy involving a mole at the White House,” reads a description for the series, which stars Gabriel Basso as Peter Sutherland, an FBI agent who works at the White House as a telephone operator for the Night Action division.

Netflix announced that The Night Agent would be getting a second season in March, shortly after the show premiered with record opening weekend viewership, but it looks like a third season may even be on the cards now based on the interest that the streamer is seeing.

“The last week has been a whirlwind as we’ve finally been able to share The Night Agent with the world,” said series creator, executive producer, and showrunner Shawn Ryan at the time. “To see the tremendous reaction to the show has been a great joy and is a credit to our cast, our writers, our directors, our crew and our partners at Sony Pictures Television and Netflix. We couldn’t be any prouder or more excited to get cracking on Season 2 to share the further adventures of Night Action with our newfound fans.”

The second most popular show on Netflix is Ginny & Georgia, the second season of which has drawn over 665 million views, according to the streamer’s report.

“Free-spirited Georgia and her two kids, Ginny and Austin, move north in search of a fresh start but find that the road to new beginnings can be bumpy,” reads a description for the comedy-drama that stars Antonia Gentry and Brianne Howey in the titular roles.

Other hits on Netflix include Wednesday (507+ million views), the Addams Family spin-off from Tim Burton, and FUBAR (266+ million views), the action-comedy series with Arnold Schwarzenegger.

Leave the World Behind, a new apocalyptic thriller from director Sam Esmail that stars Julia Roberts, Ethan Hawke, Mahershala Ali, Myha’la, is number one on Netflix at the time of this writing.
