As for the more powerful variant, the Radeon RX 9070 XT will cost up to $950, if an image that was supposedly taken at Best Buy and shared on reddit is to be believed:

News of the Radeon RX 9070 Series’ alleged pricing comes on the heels of a new admission from NVIDIA, one that can confirm the GeForce RTX 5090, RTX 5090D, and RTX 5070 Ti aren’t the only “Blackwell” GPUs missing ROPs (render output units) and a slight amount of their advertised performance—but the GeForce RTX 5080 as well.

“Upon further investigation, we’ve identified that an early production build of GeForce RTX 5080 GPUs were also affected by the same issue. Affected consumers can contact the board manufacturer for a replacement,” NVIDIA GeForce global PR director Ben Berraondo told a publication today.

“No other NVIDIA GPUs have been affected,” he added, implying that the GeForce RTX 5070 isn’t affected. “The production anomaly has been corrected.”

“NVIDIA was not aware of these issues before it launched these GPUs,” the publication noted in its coverage.
