LG’s latest gaming display further blends features found in smart TVs with a PC monitor to offer the best of both worlds. This 34-inch OLED monitor (aka GX9s) is the latest addition to LG’s UltraGear lineup, has a 21:9 aspect ratio 3440×1440 resolution and 240 Hz refresh rate 0.003 ms gray-to-gray response time. It supports both NVIDIA G-Sync and AMD FreeSync Premium Pro for reduced screen tearing and stuttering via DisplayPort 1.4, HDMI 2.1, and USB Type-C which supports power delivery up to 65W.
LG has incorporated is webOS software to enable support for popular streaming service apps such as Disney+, AppleTV, Netflix, etc. but also game streaming service apps. NVIDIA GeForce NOW, XBOX Cloud Gaming, Amazon Luna are all supported meaning that no PC or console is needed to play games. LG has employed Micro Lens Array Plus (MLA+) to achieve brightness levels of 1,300 nits. MLA+ directs more light to the viewer offering better brightness levels.
