Motherboard Performance
Testing the MSI B550 GAMING WiFi6E was accomplished using the benchmarks below. The following components were used: AMD Ryzen 7 5800X3D, Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4 16GB at 3600MT/s (CMK16GX4M2Z3600C18), TEAMGROUP T-FORCE GR PRO Airflow 2TB Gen5 NVME, and the ASRock RX 7600 XT Steel Legend 16G OC graphics card. Overall, in a non-apples-to-apples comparison, the MSI B550 GAMING WiFi6E holds its own in testing. There were no issues and we saw blows traded fairly evenly given the 5800X3D testing occurred on a more robust 570X motherboard. This motherboard performs as you would expect; there were no surprises.
VRM Temperatures
In this test, we run Cinebench R23 multicore for 20 minutes minimum and then record the temperatures across the heatsinks using HWInfo64. The CPU temperatures reached a maximum of 73C, 100% utilization, and 4316MHz. VRM temperatures averaged 46C. There was no thermal throttle, and no stability issues were encountered.

I'm a sucker for featureful motherboards - but there's an elegance to the simplicity here.
Everything you need, nothing you don't, less to go wrong!
Some people prefer to drive a BMW with every feature and dct transmission. Others prefer a standard transmission and manual windows.
One of those will still be in like original condition with 300k miles in 20 years. The otner will be totalled because the owner didn't know what a turn signal was. ;)
