Venom: The Last Dance, a third and seemingly final installment of the superhero film series that sees actor Tom Hardy take on the role of one of Marvel Comics’ most recognizable Spider-Man characters to date, is on track for release in theaters on October 25, according to a final trailer for the movie that Sony Pictures Entertainment shared today. Venom, the original 2018 film, has made $856,085,161 worldwide, while its 2021 sequel, Venom: Let There Be Carnage, made $506,863,592.
A synopsis for the film reads:
- “In Venom: The Last Dance, Tom Hardy returns as Venom, one of Marvel’s greatest and most complex characters, for the final film in the trilogy.”
- “Eddie and Venom are on the run. Hunted by both of their worlds and with the net closing in, the duo are forced into a devastating decision that will bring the curtains down on Venom and Eddie’s last dance.”
