VideoCardz has shared our first look at the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 Ti Founders Edition. As you might have expected, the lower-range graphics card looks very similar to the GeForce RTX 3070, carrying a chrome, S-shaped shroud instead of the hourglass design seen in the GeForce RTX 3080 and GeForce RTX 3090 flagships.

In terms of specs, the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 Ti Founders Edition will feature 4,864 CUDA Cores, 152 Tensor Cores, 38 RT Cores, a 1,410 MHz base clock, and a 1,665 MHz boost clock. Its memory configuration comprises 8 GB of GDDR6 VRAM clocked at 14 Gbps on a 256-bit interface. TGP is estimated to be around 180 to 200 watts.

NVIDIA will reportedly launch the GeForce RTX 3060 Ti Founders Edition on December 2 for $399, but someone on r/pcmasterrace has already spotted one of GALAX’s models out in the wild. It’s way above the alleged MSRP, however ($620).

According to an official NVIDIA slide that was previously leaked by VideoCardz, the GeForce RTX 3060 Ti Founders Edition will be faster than both the GeForce RTX 2060 SUPER and GeForce RTX 2080 SUPER.
