Saints Row reboot screenshots have been shared online, showing off the game’s desert locales. Senior environment artist Tim Wasson had posted the screenshots to his ArtStation account but found their way around the internet before they could be removed.
The franchise previously leaned toward hand-drawn cartoon styles, but the screenshots suggest a more realistic look. The images showcase desert locations, something that was mentioned in the official announcement for the reboot.

There’s no indication if the game will feature ray tracing, it could be a possibility based on these images. Saints Row is planned for release on August 23 for PC (Epic Games Store) and console.

I've had the original four for some time. Never quite got into them but then got the remaster during the holidays when it was free somewhere. I played it for a few hours and had some fun but haven't gone back. These screenshots definitely have me more interested in this one now. We'll just have to wait and see. Hopefully, it doesn't get delayed again and releases in a good state.
IDK, if they are just biding their time after the backlash, or actually changing the tone of the game. I bet on the biding their time.
