Introduction
For evaluation, we have the PNY GeForce RTX 3050 8GB Verto Dual Fan video card (VCG30508DFBPB1). This card has NVIDIA default GPU credentials, a dual-slot shroud, a generous heatsink, dual fan cooling, and a brushed aluminum full-sized slotted back plate. There is no RGB lighting on our card. As of this review writing, this video card represents the lone dual fan VERTO RTX 3050 from PNY. It has the factory default boost clock speed of 1777MHz. We are testing a full retail model.

This video card has dual fans. The shroud is plastic. It fully covers the PCB and the extent of the heatsink, which is longer than the PCB. There is no opening in the rear of the shroud. The 9-blade fans are 85mm. There is a very sturdy, full-cover brushed metal backplate.

This video card is a dual slot design and has 3 Display Port 1.4a and one HDMI 2.1 output. It measures 8 15/16 x 4 x 1 3/4 inches. There are no LEDs or RGBs. Overclocking parameters and fan settings are controlled using PNY VelocityX software. Extra power is supplied by one 8-pin PCIe connector. With TDP listed at 130 Watts, PNY recommends a minimum of 550W power supply.

Join Discussion →Thank you for the review as always! Basically, for the $$ you are better off getting an AMD 6600. At this price segment, you're concerned with Raster performance and that's about it. You're not getting this card for its Ray Tracing prowess.
Nice review. This is a thick card for a 3050 by the looks of it. I had a Gigabyte Gaming OC 3050 that did surprisingly well at 1440P with settings turned to max on most games I played.
Yeah, there were some great BF deals on the 6600, and more than a few sites noted it as the best for 1080p for the price.
