Wolfenstein Youngblood

We are using the latest version of Wolfenstein: Youngblood.  The game is running in the Vulkan API.  Our data is gathered using a real-world gaming manual-run-through in the Riverside area.

First, we are testing this game in the “Ultra” graphics setting.  There are two more levels above this, but when we run this game in those levels it tells us that we have run out of video memory at 1080p.

In “Ultra” the ASUS ROG STRIX GTX 1650 SUPER outperforms the SAPPHIRE PULSE Radeon RX 5500 XT slightly.  When we overclock the Radeon RX 5500 XT it now performs much closer to the GTX 1650 SUPER.  At these framerates, though both video cards are very playable and hard to tell apart.

We lowered settings to “High” and here the GTX 1650 SUPER has a greater advantage in performance.  However, the SAPPHIRE PULSE Radeon RX 5500 XT is no slouch at 74 FPS and is very playable as well.  When we overclock it performance matches the GTX 1650 again.
