Gears 5

In Gears 5 at 1080p, we started by cranking the game up to its highest possible settings.  This game has graphics options that go beyond the “Ultra” preset by manually selecting them and turning them up to the “Insane” option.

With the highest possible graphics settings, this game is playable on the XFX Radeon RX 5600 XT THICC II Pro by providing near 75FPS average.  This is a very high level of performance at 1080p considering the game is maxed out with the highest settings.  The XFX Radeon RX 5600 XT THICC II Pro beats the GeForce RTX 2060 by 5%.  It beats the GeForce GTX 1660 Ti by 22%.  The Radeon RX 5700 is 16% faster than the XFX Radeon RX 5600 XT THICC II Pro.

We wanted to go ahead and lower the settings to the “Ultra” preset to see how that also performs.  The same pattern holds true, the XFX Radeon RX 5600 XT THICC II Pro is still faster than the GeForce RTX 2060 and offers a really good experience at 84FPS average.
