Xbox fans have been dying to know when they’re going to finally see some gameplay footage for 343 Industries’s hotly anticipated Halo Infinite, which is rumored to reinvent the franchise and take it in a bold, new direction. Well, the wait will soon be over, as Microsoft has confirmed that its first-party Xbox Games Showcase even has been scheduled for July 23rd at 9 AM PT.

All eyes are on Halo Infinite, but we should expect some teasers for the next-generation Forza and Gears of War as well. Also, there’s a chance that Microsoft may surprise us with some kind of Fable announcement – the company actually renewed the trademark just last month. And let’s not forget about those rumors of UK developer Playground working on a new installment of the fantasy RPG series, which have stretched back for years.
