AMD has released a short but sweet video starring CEO Dr. Lisa Su, who discusses the success of the Ryzen brand and the upcoming 3000XT series, which are launching on 7/7 – the very same date that AMD launched its 3rd-generation Ryzen CPUs and Radeon RX 5000-series GPUs last year.

She also confirmed that AMD’s first Zen 3-based desktop processors, Ryzen 4000 “Vermeer,” would be released sometime later this year. We recently heard rumors of them being delayed into 2021, but evidently, they were just that: rumors.

Near the beginning of the video, Su says that she received a letter from someone who claims to have named their first child “Ryzen.” Okay then!
