OC Testing

For our OC testing, we have configured our CPU to run 4100MHz on all cores and set the voltage to 1.3875V. This yields an approximate power at the wall of 255w under load (a 197w differential from idle, which pulls about 58w). This results in the CPU running at 4.1GHz on all cores during the looping rounds of Cinebench R20.

Max Fans

SilverStone AR01-V3 Overclock Performance at Max RPM Fans

Running our HSFs at full tilt on fans lead to the SilverStone AR01-3V posting a temperature of 83.75 degrees Celsius. The Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO, however, was doing better at 81 degrees Celsius. The max fan speed on the SilverStone AR01-V3 was 2150 RPM, and the Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO was 2050 RPM.

1500 RPM Fans

At the 1500 RPM fan speed, all of the units let the temperature get out of control and our systems crashed.

Now that we have seen how all of our units cool, lets see if we can still hear!
