V-Ray HandBrake and WinRAR

V-Ray 5

Intel Core i5-11600K CPU V-Ray 5 Benchmark

We are using the standard V-Ray benchmark in the new V-Ray 5.  It seems the Ryzen 5 5600X takes the lead here and is a few percent faster than the Intel Core i5-11600K.  There is an improvement over the last generation by 18%.

HandBrake

In HandBrake we are transcoding a video, and naturally, you want this done as fast as possible.  It seems the CPU for the job here is the AMD Ryzen 5 5600X which does it 6% faster.  The Intel Core i5-11600K does improve over the last generation by 13%.

WinRAR

In the WinRAR benchmark we see a large falloff in performance with the Intel CPUs.  For whatever reason, the Ryzen 5 5600X dominates WinRAR performance.

The same is true in single-thread testing, the AMD Ryzen 5 5600X is massively faster.
