Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order players who have already moved on from the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One should be happy to know that Respawn Entertainment is working on a next-gen release for PS5 and Xbox Series X|S consoles. Lucasfilm revealed the news in a post related to Star Wars Day today, which clarified that the cross-generation upgrade would be available to current owners at no cost. Respawn had already released a next-gen optimization update back in January that improved various aspects of Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order’s backward compatibility, such as improved frame rates, dynamic resolution ranges, and post-processing resolution.
