SPECviewperf 2020
We are using the newest SPECviewperf 2020 v2.0 which was released in June of 2021. This benchmark is a standard for measuring graphics performance based on professional workstation applications. The workloads represent graphics content and behavior from actual applications that the industry uses widely. These are 3DSMAX-07, CATIA-06, CREO-03, ENERGY-03, MAYA-06, MEDICAL-03, SNX-04 and SOLIDWORKS-06. We are running the benchmark in 4K.
In 3dsmax-07 the RTX 3090 is 4% faster than the AMD Radeon RX 6900 XT.
In catia-06 the RTX 3090 is 12% faster than the Radeon RX 6900 XT.
In creo-03 the RTX 3090 is 32% faster than the Radeon RX 6900 XT.
The tables flip in energy-03, the Radeon RX 6900 XT is 18% faster than the RTX 3090.
It flips back to the RTX 3090 in maya-06 with the RTX 3090 being 21% faster than the Radeon RX 6900 XT.
We flip again with the Radeon RX 6900 XT being 39% faster than the RTX 3090 in medical-03.
The AMD Radeon RX 6900 XT has a huge lead in snx-04 being a whopping 260% faster than the RTX 3090.
In solidworks-06 the RTX 3090 takes the lead again by 52% over the Radeon RX 6900 XT.
