Sony Confirms Pricing of 2022 BRAVIA XR TVs, including QD-OLED Models

Sony Electronics has announced the pricing and availability for its 2022 lineup of BRAVIA XR televisions, confirming the price of what home theater aficionados will have to pay for some of the company’s latest display technologies. They include the prices of Sony’s first TVs with QD-OLED panels, the 65-inch and 55-inch BRAVIA XR MASTER Series A95K 4K OLEDs, which will cost $3,999.99 and $2,999.99 in the U.S. market, respectively. Both of these sets will be available for pre-order beginning next month.

Sony has promised that its BRAVIA XR MASTER SERIES A95K TVs will provide the brightest and widest range of OLED colors ever thanks to their QD-OLED panels. Manufactured by Samsung, these “quantum dot” panels are supposed to deliver even greater image quality than LG’s WRGB OLED screens. Other features of Sony’s BRAVIA XR MASTER SERIES A95K TV include Google TV and Acoustic Surface Audio+, a technology that effectively turns the screen into a multi-channel speaker.
