Test Setup

Note: The Intel Core i9 12900K isn’t really much of an overclocker. However, out of curiosity, we did manually overclock it to an all-core of 5.1GHz (P-Cores) and run it using both Intel defaults and ASUS’ motherboard defaults for comparison purposes. These differences are noted below. The ASUS ROG MAXIMUS Z690 EXTREME was tested at Intel defaults.
