Test Setup
Unfortunately, the Core i9 12900K we used for testing isn’t much of an overclocker. To that end, we have run the benchmarks on default Intel power limits of 241w and the motherboard defaults which are controlled by the motherboard’s automatic settings. The latter of which is how most motherboards operate out of the box.
Note: Memory for DDR5 motherboards will now be DDR5 6000MHz, as a result, older results will lag the current test platforms. However, going forward this will be the standard for DDR5 while DDR4 is going up to DDR4 3600MHz.
