The official Tomb Raider website has begun taking sign-ups for a new newsletter, teasing “breaking news” and fueling rumors that the next installment may be getting an official reveal soon—possibly as early as next week, during the Gamescom show, which is scheduled to run from August 23 to 27. @SmashLara, which spotted the update, pointed out rumors from last year that suggested the new Tomb Raider would be shown off in 2023. Crystal Dynamics confirmed that it was developing a new Tomb Raider on Unreal Engine 5 in April 2022.
In January, @mmmmmmmmiller reported that a new #TombRaider game was being readied for a 2023 reveal.
