Saints Row is now available on Steam for those who have been avoiding the game for being an Epic Games Store exclusive, publisher Deep Silver and developer Volition have announced. The game, which is a full reboot of the series that takes players to the fictional city of Santo Ileso, can be purchased for only $19.79 as part of a special launch promotion, while the Gold and Platinum Editions, which include a DLC expansion pass, are also available at a discounted price of $29.69 and $32.99, respectively. Complementing Saints Row’s release on Steam is a new 1.6 update that adds new content and fixes for all versions of the game.

The backdrop of Saints Row is the vibrant, fictional city of Santo Ileso, located in the heart of the Weird, Wild West. In a world overflowing with crime and disorderly factions competing for dominance, a group of struggling young criminals start their own journey on the road to being the biggest boss in the city.

With the addition of hundreds of fan-requested quality of life improvements, an overhaul of combat, two new districts and a range of new features like Cheats Mode and Selfie Mode, there has never been a better time to jump into Santo Ileso, whether it’s your first or hundredth time.

To celebrate the launch, Volition have released another update including a brand new event for players to discover.
