James Cameron has done the unthinkable—going back and remastering not one, but three of his fan-favorite movies.

In a press release that The Digital Bits received today, Disney and Lightstorm Entertainment revealed that The Abyss, Aliens, and True Lies are all coming to 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray, and not only that, they’ll all be available on the same day, on March 12, 2024.

All of these releases will feature what is obviously a new transfer on 100 GB 4K UHD discs, as well as Dolby Atmos tracks, numerous special features, and even new box art, with Aliens, in particular, featuring Ripley and Newt on the cover.

It also looks like Avatar is getting another release, with a new Collector’s Edition that packs three versions of the film (Theatrical, Special Edition, Extended Cut) as part of a 4-disc set on 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray.

Here’s a breakdown of the release schedule, which also includes the 25th Anniversary Collector’s Edition of Titanic and how they’ll also be available digitally as early as December:
