Now that we’re rounding the corner on the last half day of this year’s Amazon Prime Day, there’s a few things that we’ve been keeping our eye on that we think are a great deal and expect pricing to head up tomorrow. Of note, we’re actually finding more interesting deals over at NewEgg as part of their FANTASTECH week long sale and Best Buy’s Black Friday in July. Here’s what we suggest you jump on before it is too late.
Monitors
Samsung 57″ Odyssey Neo G9 Dual 4K Monitor (plus, a free monitor)
This is the best monitor that I’ve ever owned as I am certainly a fan of ultra widescreens for both gaming (RIP, my video card) and productivity. The seamless dual 4K resolution provides (almost) more working space than I know what to do with. Absolutely worth jumping on if you’re tired of bezels. I bought this at launch for about $2k – today you can get it for close to $1500 direct from Samsung and they’ll throw in an extra 24″ monitor for you to boot (hooray for bundle coupons that give you more savings than the bundled item!)
- Samsung 57″ Odyssey Neo G9 – $1599.99
- Samsung 24″ Odyssey G30A – $139.99 – Add this as your bundled item and your subtotal will be $1565.98 for both.
Video Cards
On the Video card front, there are a few NVIDIA 40 Series SUPER cards that have dropped around or below “MSRP” pricing which essentially lets you get a factory overclocked card for the price of a stock configuration card. Here’s a couple of note –
- MSI Gaming GeForce RTX 4070 SUPER – $614.99 after promo code SSDCD23867
- ZOTAC GAMING GeForce RTX 4070 Ti SUPER Trinity Black Edition – $759.99 after promo code FANDU5745
- ASRock Phantom Gaming Radeon RX 7900 XT – $649.99
Laptops
- ASUS TUF A16 Gaming Laptop – $679.99 (Ryzen 7 7735HS, 16GB RAM, 512GB SSD, RX7700S GPU)
- MacBook Air 13″ M3 – $899 (Typically $1099, 8GB Memory/256GB SSD)
Other Notable Items
- Apple Airpods (2nd Gen) – $69.99 (Usually $90-100)
- Apple Air Tag (4 pack) – $74.99 (Usually around $100)
- Amazon Devices – Up to 60% off (You’ll probably have to wait until Black Friday to see these prices again.)
