Electronic Arts has loaded Battlefield 6 with enough features to possibly make it one of the biggest launches in franchise history. The upcoming release could have the “Most Robust Set of Features in Franchise History”. The publisher’s latest post is akin to a PC user’s dream wish list. Folks wanting the best visuals needn’t worry, as native 4K recommendations are not too demanding, with either an NVIDIA RTX 4080 or AMD RX 7900 XTX GPU topping the list, paired with either an Intel Core i9-12900K or AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D. For those wanting to use upscaling technology, the game will support NVIDIA DLSS 4, AMD FSR 4, and Intel XeSS 2 at launch. However, folks still hanging on to 16 GB system memory configurations may want to consider upgrading for the Ultra setting.

As a child of the 70’s I was part of the many who became enthralled by the video arcade invasion of the 1980’s. Saving money from various odd jobs I purchased my first computer from a friend of my dad, a used Atari 400, around 1982. Eventually it would end up being a lifelong passion of upgrading and modifying equipment that, of course, led into a career in IT support.
