SPECviewperf 13

SPECviewperf 13 is an industry standard benchmark as it tests performance in many widely used professional industry applications.  We are testing the official 1920×1080 and 3840×2160 benchmark runs.  The results are in FPS so naturally higher is better.

In this graph we are comparing the official 1920×1080 run.  The Radeon Pro driver is in blue, the latest Adrenalin driver in off white and the press driver in orange.  Higher results are better.

For the most part we see some extremely slight advantages with the Adrenalin driver over the press driver, but they are very tiny.  We see some bigger differences though using the Radeon Pro driver.  It edges out by a frame or two here and there, not major, it’s hardly noticeable, but it is noteworthy at least as it follows a pattern.

In the above graph we are testing in the official 3840×2160 run.  We see a notable performance uplift in Maya using the latest Adrenalin driver and Radeon Pro driver over the press driver.  We also see a notable improvement in snx-03 using the Radeon Pro driver.  Otherwise, differences are very minor.
