On this page, and the next we are going to look at how overclocking has improved game performance on both video cards. We will simply compare by apples-to-apples the default clock speed to our highest overclock as shown on the previous page.
The Division 2
In The Division 2 we are running at 1440p in DX12 with the highest in-game settings. The results above are obtained from the in-game benchmark. Overclocking the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070 SUPER FE has improved performance by 8%.
Shadow of the Tomb Raider
In Shadow of the Tomb Raider, we are running at 1440p in DX12 with the highest in-game settings. The results are obtained from the in-game benchmark. GeForce RTX 2070 SUPER FE receives a 9% performance increase from overclocking.
Metro Exodus
In Metro: Exodus, we are running at 1440p in DX12 with the “Extreme” in-game settings. The results above are obtained from the in-game benchmark. In this game, we see a 7% performance improvement from overclocking the GeForce RTX 2070 SUPER FE video card.
