Control

We are using the latest version of the new game Control.  For our testing we are using the in-game quality presets for overall graphics.  We are running this game in DX12.  We are gathering real-world gameplay utilizing a custom run-through in the Cafeteria and Dead Letters area in the game with combat.

Similar to Red Dead Redemption 2 this game is also very demanding on graphics.  We also see a bit of a turn around for the first time.  For the first time, the GeForce RTX 2070 SUPER comes out on top above the Radeon RX 5700 XT and the ASUS ROG STRIX RX 5700 XT O8G GAMING by about 4%.  In this game every little bit helps, and the RTX 2070 SUPER is faster.  That is until we overclock the ASUS ROG STRIX RX 5700 XT O8G GAMING.

When overclocked its 8% faster than not overclocked, this game benefits a lot from that overclock.  Now that it is overclocked it’s faster than the GeForce RTX 2070 SUPER.  That really pushes the video card into providing the best gameplay experience.
