3DMark Timespy
Running the 3DMark Timespy benchmark we see the Ryzen 7 3700X scores 11489 while the Ryzen 7 2700X scores 11164. That is only a very small 3% advantage to the Ryzen 7 3700X in this more GPU focused benchmark.
HandBrake
In HandBrake we are testing the time it takes to transcode a 10 minute video. With the Ryzen 7 2700X it takes 12 minutes and 55 seconds. We save a little time with the Ryzen 7 3700X completing it in 11 minutes and 34 seconds. That’s almost a 10% reduction in time using the Ryzen 7 3700X.
V-Ray
In V-Ray the Ryzen 7 3700X scores 13895 ksamples while the Ryzen 7 2700X scores 12039 ksamples. That is a 15% performance improvement to the Ryzen 7 3700X.
