The ZOTAC GAMING GeForce RTX 3070 AMP Holo LHR weighed in at 240W which is 12W below the Radeon RX 6800’s power draw of 252W. Overclocking the ZOTAC GAMING GeForce RTX 3070 AMP Holo LHR added 29W to its total draw.

Temperature

The ambient room temperature at the time of testing was 22 degrees Celsius.

From what we can tell, the ZOTAC GAMING GeForce RTX 3070 AMP Holo LHR’s default fan curve is set to maintain 68 degrees Celsius as it leveled off at 68.1 degrees Celsius. It maintained that with the fans running but not audible without an issue. That cooler than the AMD Radeon RX 6800 that leveled out at 70 degrees Celsius. With the ZOTAC GAMING GeForce RTX 3070 AMP Holo LHR maxed out on both core clock and fans, it dropped to 60.8 degrees Celsius.

For comparison, the GeForce RTX 3070 Founders Edition ran at 76c. Therefore the cooling on the ZOTAC GAMING GeForce RTX 3070 AMP Holo LHR improves upon the Founder’s Edition temperature by 6.9 degrees Celsius.
