Introduction

Today’s evaluation is taking a look at the ZOTAC GAMING GeForce RTX 3060 Ti AMP White Edition (ZT-A30610F-10PLHR).   As the title suggests this is an RTX 3060Ti video card based on the NVIDIA Ampere architecture.  The RTX 3060Ti was released on December 1, 2020. The Founder’s Edition had an MSRP of $399.  Our review video card is currently selling (and available) for $499.  This model is a Limited Edition White color, features dual fan cooling, White LED lighting, and a metal wrap-around backplate, as well as a factory overclock.  ZOTAC offers a three-year warranty if you register the card online after purchase. (two years if you don’t)

Our review video card is the top-of-the-line in ZOTAC’S RTX 3060Ti lineup.  It stands out from 4 other cards by its white color and higher overclock out of the box. The factory GPU boost clock is rated at 1665MHz.  Our ZOTAC GAMING GeForce RTX 3060 Ti AMP White Edition LHR has a boost clock of 1755MHz.

As of this writing, Zotac offers 5 different 3060Ti variants:  ZOTAC GAMING GeForce RTX 3060 Ti Twin Edge OC LHR, ZOTAC GAMING GeForce RTX 3060 Ti Twin Edge LHR, ZOTAC GAMING GeForce RTX 3060 Ti Twin Edge OC, ZOTAC GAMING GeForce RTX 3060 Ti Twin Edge and our review card, the Gaming GeForce 3060Ti AMP White Edition.  It is pretty easy to get dizzy looking at the different video cards Zotac offers in this category stack. Simply put, there are two cards that are Lite Hash Rate (one OC and one not) and two cards that are not Lite Hash Rate (one OC and one not).

Our video card is a dual-slot card.  It measures 9.1 by 5.6 by 1.6 inches.

The back of the card features a solid “wrap-around” metal backplate which is slotted for airflow. Dual fans are a “new” 11-blade design.  The fan control has “FREEZE Fan Stop” which will stop fans at low workloads.

The video card may be overclocked and fans may be user adjusted by installing Zotac’s FireStorm utility.

There are white LEDs on the front outer facing surface of the videocard.
