Sony Electronics has announced that it has partnered with Square Enix to make BRAVIA XR TVs the official gaming TV for Final Fantasy XVI, the new action RPG that is releasing exclusively for PlayStation 5 consoles on June 22, 2023. According to a press release from Sony, prospective players with BRAVIA XR sets will feel like they’re “truly there” in FFXVI’s world of Valisthea thanks in large part to Cognitive Processor XR, a chip that uses AI to analyze content and deliver picture and sound that’s closer to what humans see and hear in the real world. Sony has also recommended its INZONE M9 4K 144 Hz gaming monitor for the “highest quality” FFXVI experience.
