Seasonic Upgrades Warranties for Its VERTEX ATX 3.0 Power Supplies to 12 Years

VERTEX ATX 3.0 PSU owners have even more reason to feel confident in their purchase as Seasonic upgrades their warranties to 12 years. Seasonic upgrading warranties is somewhat of an unusual turn of events in the electronics industry where some products have had their warranty coverage reduced over the years from lifetime to 10 years, 2 years, or less so it’s refreshing to see a company that already has a solid reputation for quality products to take their support a step further.

The VERTEX series was announced in 2022, and was on prominent display at CES 2022 where our own David Schroth visited, and also happens to be one of the seemingly few ATX 3.0 power supplies available at above 1000 W with an 80 plus Platinum rating. This too, as Seasonic upgrades the VERTEX warranties, is something potential shoppers should be aware of when thinking about the needs of power-hungry CPUs and GPUs. Ther VERTEX series is available in wattages ranging from 750W up to 1200W, and depending on the model, in black or white versions.

Sea Sonic is committed to placing the continued trust of its customers as its priority by manufacturing highly reliable power supplies and providing top-level customer support. For this reason, effective immediately, the factory warranty on all Seasonic VERTEX series power supplies will be upgraded from the current 10 years to an industry-leading period of 12 years worldwide. This upgrade includes all VERTEX units that have already been sold prior to today’s date. The calculation of the warranty period starts on the date of the original purchase. All other warranty terms apply as they did before.
