Kingdom Come: Deliverance

Note that in all the graphs the video cards are compared by price.  The most expensive video card by MSRP is on top, while the least expensive video card by MSRP is on bottom.  In this way you can compare pricing from bottom to top and see where performance lies.

In the graph above we are using the latest version of Kingdom Come: Deliverance.  The game is running in DX11 and we have all of the in-game settings at their maximum values for graphics with HD Textures installed.  We have performed a manual run-through in this game.

AMD Radeon RX 5700 XT and RX 5700 Kingdom Come: Deliverance Performance at 1440p

In Kingdom Come: Deliverance the AMD Radeon RX 5700 XT performs on par with the GeForce RTX 2070 FE and just a bit faster than the RTX 2060 SUPER.  The Radeon RX 5700 is faster than the RTX 2060.  In terms of gameplay, only the RTX 2070 SUPER video card is actually playable at the highest settings at 1440p.  Instead, you will have to drop settings a preset down to make the Radeon RX 5700 XT playable, and two settings down to make the RX 5700 playable.

AMD Radeon RX 5700 XT and RX 5700 Kingdom Come: Deliverance Performance at 1080p

1080p is a lot better for these video cards, but it seems we lose more performance on the AMD Radeon RX 5700 video cards.  At 1080p, for the first time, the Radeon RX 5700 XT is being beat in performance by the GeForce RTX 2070 FE by a good margin.  The Radeon RX 5700 is also slower than the GeForce RTX 2060 for the first time.  This could just be an optimization issue, but as it is now, they are a bit slower than the competition.  In terms of gameplay though every video card shown here is actually playable in the game at 1080p with the highest in-game settings.  You are going to feel the game is smoother on the video cards that are in the 70’s, but it’s still playable even on the Radeon RX 5700.
